I’m Claire Pearce, the proud owner of Unbuttoned Boudoir Photography, and I’ve been empowering women through boudoir photography since 2010. But my journey in making women feel beautiful started long before that—as a hairstylist, I spent years listening to women, understanding their struggles, and helping them feel their absolute best. Like so many of the women I photograph, I’ve had my own battles with body confidence. In my 20s, my body changed, and I suddenly became curvier—a shift that was hard to embrace at first. Growing up in the UK and moving to Los Angeles in 1992, I felt the weight of unrealistic beauty standards everywhere I turned. But instead of letting those insecurities define me, I found my passion: helping women see their own beauty, strength, and sensuality through my lens. With over 30 years of experience working with women, and 16 years doing Boudoir Photography, I know exactly how to guide you through every step of your boudoir journey. From wardrobe selection to expert posing and image selection, I’ve got you. You don’t need to know how to pose or feel 100% confident walking in—that’s my job! I’ll be there to direct, encourage, and remind you just how breathtaking you truly are.
